Editing that makes your argument clearer

Academic editing starts from your draft: clarity, cohesion, repetition, citations that do not close, paragraphs that do not argue. We keep your voice. If a section has no content of yours, we do not invent it to fill pages.

It fits theses, TCCs and articles when the text is yours. A three-line outline is not an editing brief; see /integridad.

How we edit

The diagnostic estimates length, manual and depth (style, cohesion, or both). The scope sets rounds. You work on the file you send. We return tracked changes or comments, plus a note on what we did not touch.

APA 7 and ABNT are not mixed blindly. Fine margin and title-page work can sit in the style package if it is in the scope.

Deliverables

An edited file, a decision list (tense, long quotations, figures) and, if agreed, a style pass. We do not deliver originality certificates or similarity-software logos.

Manuals in LATAM editing

APA 7th ed. is common in social sciences and education. ABNT NBR 10520 and 6023 govern many Brazilian programmes. Vancouver in health; Chicago in some humanities.

No shortcut to the grade

Clearer prose does not guarantee the vote. Editing does not include a mock defence unless hired separately. The fee pays editing work, not the degree.

Authorship

We edit prose that is already yours. If the file is not your authorship, there is no editing service that turns it into assessed work.

What we touch in the file

Sentences that do not argue, hidden subjects, citations that do not close, figures without a callout, tense shifts without reason. Unsupported causal claims are flagged.

Editing can run in Spanish, Portuguese or English on this LATAM host. Extra rounds change the fee.

Scope, limits, and how the quote works

We edit argumentative prose, not results. Voice is preserved. Tracked changes (or comments) are the visible deliverable. We do not deliver similarity certificates.

Do you correct data and statistics?

Only if the scope says so and there is a profile for it. By default we edit prose and apparatus.

Do you take English?

Yes, if the work is defended or submitted in English. The host remains LATAM: tesispro.lat/en/.

How many rounds are included?

Those the scope sets. An extra round is an extra.
